On April 6, 2005, Ampex Corporation announced that it has concluded license agreements with two manufacturers of digital still cameras: Casio Computer Co., Ltd., based in Japan, and Samsung Techwin Co., Ltd., based in Korea. The agreements were entered into pursuant to Ampex’s ongoing patent licensing program, and permit the use of several U.S. and foreign patents held by Ampex in the manufacture and sale of digital still cameras. A copy of Ampex’s press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
