Mexico, D.F., December 5, 2013. Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. (NYSE:TV; BMV:TLEVISA CPO) today confirmed that the Unidad de Política Regulatoria of the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) delivered a writ (oficio) to Grupo Televisa whereby it gave notice of the commencement of a preliminary procedure to determine if Grupo Televisa could be considered as an agente económico preponderante in the broadcast sector.
Grupo Televisa is in the process of analyzing and preparing a response to such writ.
