Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
     On January 1, 2008, Superior Energy Services, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an employment agreement with each of Patrick Zuber and Charles Hardy. Copies of the respective employment agreements are attached hereto as Exhibits 10.1 and 10.2.
Item 8.01. Other Events.
     On January 7, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing that Patrick Zuber has been appointed Executive Vice President, International Sales, and Charles Hardy has been named Executive Vice President, Marine Services. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
