ITEM 2.02      Results of Operations and Financial Condition

 

On April 29, 2019, Southern Copper Corporation (“SCC”) issued a press release announcing financial results for the quarter ended on March 31, 2019.  In this press release, SCC reported that on April 11, 2019, the Board of Directors authorized a dividend of $0.40 per share payable on May 17, 2019, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 3, 2019.  A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
