On August 4, 2011, Discovery Communications, Inc. ("Discovery") released its earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2011. A copy of Discovery's press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
 
 
Item 8.01.    Other Events
 
Discovery's Board of Directors has approved a $1.0 billion increase to the existing stock repurchase program. Under the program, management is authorized to purchase shares from time to time through open market purchases at prevailing prices or privately negotiated transactions, as permitted by securities laws and other legal requirements, and subject to market conditions and other factors.
