ITEM 9. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On September 11, 2003, Radian Asset Assurance Inc., a subsidiary of Radian Group Inc. (the “Company”), closed on a $150 million “soft capital” facility to “qualified institutional buyers” or “institutional accredited investors” (as defined in the Securities Act of 1933, as amended) that are also “qualified purchasers” (as defined in Section 2(a)(51) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended), described in the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 3, 2003. The Purchase Agreement, among Market Street Custodial Trust I, Market Street Custodial Trust II, Market Street Custodial Trust III, the Company, Radian Asset Securities Inc., a subsidiary of Radian Group, Lehman Brothers Inc. and Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., dated as of September 9, 2003, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
