Item 8.01 Other Events.
At its June 13, 2007 meeting, the Board of Directors of Lakeland Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Arthur L. Zande as Vice Chairman of the Company and George H. Guptill, Jr. as Secretary of the Company (replacing Mr. Zande, who had previously served as Secretary). The Secretary position is a non executive officer position, and Mr. Guptill will continue to serve as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Zande has served as a director of the Company since 1989, and Mr. Guptill has served as a director of the Company since 1999.
