Dear Canadian Agents & Reps,
I would like to take this opportunity to touch base with you since my visit to Canada at the end of March.
Over the last couple of weeks, domestic U.S. ARP employees have been asked to participate in a pay and benefits survey and have received information about the proposed equity stake for Americans domestic U.S. independent employees.
These communications may have left you wondering if these same items will be applied to you, as Canadian employees. Unfortunately, is not possible to distribute equity to employees who are not on U.S. payroll. Moving forward, any changes made to Canadian pay and benefits will take into account the Canadian airline market position and labour laws.
As I shared with you, our intent is to help you form a Canadian Agent/Rep committee to discuss seniority integration options. Well share more details as they become available.
We are committed to ensuring that all of our independent people have a voice. Thank you for your continued hard work and the contributions you make to our airline every day by taking great care of our customers.
Sincerely,
Don Langford
