Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of
Principal Officers.
On September 5, 2006, Accenture Ltd (Accenture) issued a press release announcing that CEO
William D. Green has assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective September 1,
2006. He succeeds Joe W. Forehand, who retired as Chairman and member of the Board of Directors,
effective August 31, 2006. Accenture previously announced these planned changes in a press release
issued on February 15, 2006.
A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Forehands succession as Chairman by Mr. Green is
attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
