Relay Resources Welcomes Three New Board Members

Relay, the region's leader in providing meaningful employment for people with disabilities, announced three new leaders joined their Board of Directors.

PORTLAND, OR / ACCESSWIRE / March 27, 2024 / Relay Resources, the region's leader in providing meaningful employment for people with disabilities, announced three new leaders have joined their Board of Directors.

"Our work is needed now more than ever to create psychologically safe, disability-inclusive work environments where disabled and non-disabled employees can thrive together."

New Board members include:

Aaron Moses, Vice President of Facilities and Business Operations at Pyxis Oncology. Aaron has a rich background in the biotech and technology sectors. His journey includes impactful roles, including Genentech, where he led General & Administrative procurement for North America. Transitioning to Facebook (now Meta), Aaron played a pivotal role in finance and community engagement, which sparked his commitment to social impact for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where he was the global head of real estate, facilities, events, and travel. Aaron is a driving force in business, technology, and healthcare. He holds an MBA, with a focus on healthcare, from the George Washington University School of Business.

Anita Ramachandran, Executive Director, MicroMentor, a pioneering global business mentoring platform under Mercy Corps. At MicroMentor, Anita has dedicated the past 11 years to empowering under-resourced entrepreneurs and women small business owners worldwide. With over 25 years of experience blending NGO and corporate management across diverse industries and geographies, Anita embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and positive change. Anita has worked to support women affected by domestic violence as the co-founder and President of SAWERA and she is on the board of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation. She received the Portland Business Journal's Women of Influence Award in 2019 and the Exceptional Community Service accolade from the Chetana Foundation in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Economics and an MBA from Portland State University.

Robert Johnson, Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager II at First Interstate Bank. Robert uses his expertise to cultivate and manage key client relationships across diverse industries, fostering long-term partnerships and driving business growth. He has over 30 years of experience in commercial banking and leadership roles. Robert graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's in economics. In 2006, he graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast School of Banking. He has served his community in various volunteer capacities, including as a public commissioner for two years on the Washington County Commission on Children & Families. Robert's relationship with Relay started many years ago when two of his brothers, who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, worked at Relay Resources.
