Unite Health Share Ministries™ (UHSM), a nonprofit, faith-based healthcare-sharing ministry supporting Christian believers through member-to-member healthcare-sharing memberships, encourages the public to explore their healthcare options this open enrollment season. Beginning November 1, 2022, until January 15, 2023, open enrollment is the annual period where individuals can adjust their current health plan or enroll in an alternative program for the following calendar year.

With no enrollment period or having the plan tied to an employer, health shares are a more flexible program. The member-based fellowship of UHSM allows faithful people to take charge of their healthcare, paying monthly share contributions that assist in paying for member medical expenses, saving members up to 50% in medical costs. Acknowledging the overwhelming burden that may arise during a medical emergency, UHSM believes everyone has a right to medical care at a reasonable price.
