Danimer Scientific Appoints Keith A. Edwards as Vice President of Business Development

Edwards brings technical expertise and business leadership built over a 30-year career with industry-leading polymer manufacturers including BASF and Chevron Phillips Chemical

Danimer Scientific, Inc. (NYSE: DNMR) (“Danimer” or the “Company”), a leading next generation bioplastics company focused on the development and production of biodegradable materials, today announced it has appointed Keith A. Edwards as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Edwards will focus on growing market opportunities for Danimer’s biodegradable alternatives to traditional plastic as the Company continues to expand its manufacturing capacity.

Edwards joins Danimer after nearly 18 years with BASF Corporation, the North American affiliate of the largest chemical producer in the world. He most recently served as Head of Specialty Polymers, where he led sales and marketing for packaging and extruded applications of various polymers. Prior to BASF, Edwards served as petrochemical supply director for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, LLC (“CPChem”), a leading polymer and petrochemical product manufacturer jointly owned by Chevron Corporation and Phillips 66. Over his 30-year career, Edwards has vast experience across application and process development, packaging structure innovation, polymer manufacturing, and sales and business development. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
