Previously, the family-run venue offered accommodation reserved for the sole use of the couple, including The Milking Parlour, a tranquil bridal suite with a private courtyard, log fire, and high-end interiors. Separate overnight lodgings are available in the Mama Lou shepherd's hut, a personal space set within an alpaca grazing field and immaculately restored to provide a retreat away from the world.
Adding deluxe bell tents to this offering completes the package, enabling couples to invite their loved ones and closest friends to stay on-site overnight, following a day of celebration, fine dining, entertainment and dancing.
Brand new for the 2024 season, this exciting expansion allows guests to soak in the ambience and atmosphere of this special venue, with tents located within an idyllic flower meadow, providing convenient and direct access to all amenities. This comfortable glamping experience complements the rest of the day.
Booking Bell Tent Guest Accommodation for Weddings at Southend Barns, West Sussex
Tents are available for reservations between May and September, ensuring all guests and wedding parties can relax in the fresh air of the Sussex countryside when the weather is warm and settled. Each bell tent is a generous five metres in diameter, providing ample space for two adults to wind down after a busy day of festivities.

Southend Barns has six large-scale bell tents, accommodating up to 12 guests for each wedding, civil ceremony or special occasion.
