North Andover, Massachusetts – Granite Peak Associates has announced the promotion of former Tax Manager, Chris Cunningham, to Vice President of Tax effective immediately.

A graduate of Bentley University with his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s in taxation, Mr. Cunningham also spent nine years active duty in the Marine Corps, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Since joining Granite Peak in 2019, he has been instrumental in growing the firm’s veterinary niche and implementing a dental specialty within the company.

“Chris’s passion for researching and studying complex tax issues, makes him an invaluable resource and team member,” said CEO, Jharid Pratt. “I have no doubt he’ll continue to excel in his new role,” Pratt concluded.

As Vice President of Tax, Cunningham will focus on strengthening internal processes, team growth and development, and staying on top of technology, tax updates, and tax saving strategies to benefit clients.
