(Matthew Du, NewsUSA Reporter) - The City of Atlanta offers many activities and programs for its senior residents: physical fitness, arts & crafts, educational seminars, and local to regional trips. The city's Office of Recreation partners up with different community centers all over Atlanta. Residents from the start of 55 and above or Primetime Seniors also have dedicated activities in the parks and centers.
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library also offers classes on a calendar basis. Public spaces like museums, theaters, and aquariums are also very friendly and accessible for seniors, especially those who need a wheelchair.
Seniors can register via www.atlantaga.gov/iPARCS or contact their nearest community center.
