Mesh Dental Network held its first-ever LIFFT (Learning Intensive For Future Transition) workshop in January 2023. There were doctors representing 15 practices in attendance, and each of them have left feedback praising the program.

The LIFFT workshop was held in alignment with the Mesh Dental Network mission, with an emphasis on educating doctors on the market factors currently impacting the profession in terms of doctor autonomy, competition, and practice values. Some of the learning objectives of the exclusive workshop included: understanding how to prepare a practice to achieve maximum value at transition; understanding EBITDA and its role in valuation; determining what actions to take today to position a practice for maximum value; learning marketing and team engagement strategies for the digital age; and building a working growth plan.

Attendees were impressed by the depth of information and knowledge they received in these areas and more.

“I think the most important thing we’re going to take back is an action plan with strategies that are specific to our practice needs,” said Dr. Jessica Meeske. “I feel by coming to this conference, we’ve had an opportunity to learn from Mesh and to interact with other dentists and practices.”

It’s really important for us to take the time away from our practices and break away to be able to do these sorts of things, because it makes you refocus and regain your purpose professionally and personally,” said Dr. Holly Randone. “It helps to overall become a more effective leader in your life.”
