By: Get News
From NFL stadium to grandma’s kitchen, Bake-In-Cups shifted its business to thrive during the pandemic.

Offering an upscale presentation and ease of use to high volume bakeries, Bake-In-Cup provided colorful baking cups to hotels, resorts and casinos across the country. Its roster of clients included the popular Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar’s Las Vegas and State Farm Stadium where the Arizona Cardinals play. In 2020, as the lights turned off on large gathering and casinos closed down across the country, Bake-In-Cups business also stopped overnight.

Bake-In-Cup baking cups are cleverly engineered to be an all-in-one container for baked treats. They can go from freezer to oven to bakery case. Unlike traditional cupcake liners, the cups keep its beautiful, vibrant colors and is less greasy, offering an eye catching presentation. Cake batter is poured directly into thee paper cups and bakes on a cookie sheet. Eliminating the need to have muffin pans and minimal cleanup makes it ideal for high volume bakeries and operations. With over 100 designs and color combinations, Bake-In-Cups offers the largest selection of its namesake baking cups available.

Faced with the pandemic and the closure of its wholesale clientele, like many businesses, the company had to reinvent its business during the pandemic. The company created new lines of products offering more variety selections at smaller volumes for home bakers. The addition of cupcake boxes, sprinkles, toppers and everything one needs to create fun cupcakes at home helped Bake-In-Cups become a one stop shop for home bakers looking to create professional looking cupcakes and treats.

“Desserts always bring a smile to people. Bakers love to share their creations with friends and family. With Bake-In-Cup products, everyone can create impressive and professional-looking desserts.” Said Anna Kan, creator of Bake-In-Cups. “We created variety boxes for the home baker offering fun themed variety cups and special sprinkle mixes. They’ve been a big hit. Many families baked together as an activity during the pandemic and many used our cups to make muffins and other treats to keep connected with neighbors and friends”.

The cups were also a great solution for parties and gatherings as it allows everything to be single serving. “Bake-In-Cups are not just for baking sweets. Our customers use them for chips and dips, for taco bar toppings, egg bakes, cheesecakes and even just chicken wings! We always love seeing our customers’ creative uses for these versatile cups” says Kan.

Bake-In-Cups plans to continue to expand their consumer business and recently added jumbo size cups, loaf pans and many new designs to their selection in preparation for the holiday season. “The pandemic propelled us to reinvent our business to serve consumers and we’re grateful for their support. While it was a really hard time, we will emerge from this challenge stronger than before”.
