In April of 2021, Billie S. of Kingston, ID was working from home when she received the call that she will never forget. Neal Spiegel, CEO of Built USA™ was on the other end of the line letting Billie know that she had just been randomly selected as the Winner of the HDG6 2020 Harley Davidson® Street Glide Special® and $10,000 CASH! Neal said, “In hindsight he probably should have asked if Bille was sitting down before revealing that she had WON''. Billie did not believe the call was real at first. Neal had to reassure her a few times before she believed him and began telling her family why she was so excited!
At the time Billie won her new Harley®, there were a lot of travel restrictions in place across the country due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, this meant she had to wait a bit longer than usual to pick up her gorgeous Stone Washed White Pearl™ Street Glide Special® and all that cash.
Billie had owned a few different Harleys® of her own before winning the Built USA™ Street Glide Special®. As a fairly seasoned rider, she arrived in Florida ready to soak up the sun and get a few miles on her new bike. She checked into a hotel near Clearwater Beach and headed north to Built USA™ headquarters to get her hands on the prize. Neal said “ her excitement was contagious as soon as she walked in the door”! She walked over to the bike and hopped on, it was a perfect fit! Billie was ready to roll, she nailed her prize claim videos and geared up for a ride around some of Neal’s favorite local spots. They enjoyed their cruise and headed back to the shop. This was the first giveaway that Neal decided to include Cash along with the Motorcycle. Billie stuffed the $10,000 Cash in her saddle bags and headed back toward the hotel to catch the sunset over the beautiful and picturesque Gulf of Mexico. After spending the weekend sightseeing around the West Coast of Florida and getting some quality miles on her new favorite bike, Billie headed back home to Idaho. She was determined to get comfortable on her new Street Glide Special® and ride out to Sturgis in August of 2021. Well she did just that. She made it out to Sturgis and she even sent Neal some epic photos of her journey along the way.
