Ontario, Canada - April 19th, 2022 - Mech Solutions, along with four other companies, have been accepted into ventureLAB's Accelerate AI Cohort, a competitive program representing the extensive scope of novel AI solutions in Canada. It is a program mainly funded by Scale AI that helps AI driven technology startups accelerate their product delivery in the market by utilizing growth and scale-up business support services.
This comprehensive 6-month program, led by highly experienced expert advisors and business leaders Garry Chan and Krishna Vempati, will drive Mech Solutions to solve modern-day supply chain challenges by additional integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into the development of their existing AI-empowered 3D printing platform solutions. Additionally, Mech Solutions will expand as they take on some of the most complex entrepreneurial challenges in technology today.
The cohort will help Mech Solutions in accelerating its development and commercialization by focusing on attracting and retaining talent, customer acquisition, access to capital and technological development, with efficient mentorship and access to Canada's leading Hardware Lab.
On the acceptance into the program, Haoliang Zhou, the CEO of Mech Solutions Canada states, “After several years of operation, Mech Solutions has established itself as a prominent 3D printing company in Canada. The company's mission is to give creative solutions to the additive manufacturing industry by fully exploiting its R&D team's expertise. This AI Cohort, in my view, offers an opportunity to enhance and commercialize our products and services, therefore elevating Canada’s status as a global technological leader”.
While AI is essential to the supply chain's success, the sector still needs competent staff to function properly. To ensure that companies have experienced staff, Scale AI sponsors artificial and digital intelligence training programs for thousands of individuals. Mech Solutions will be able to infuse more innovation into their supply chain business as the number of their skilled staff increases via these training programs.
Many startups face certain unique obstacles while setting up a supply chain. When these startups find successful AI algorithms, they obtain knowledge and experience that becomes their Intellectual property. Startups must know how to recognize and safeguard intellectual property to scale up their business. To help protect this intellectual property, the cohort will provide Mech Solutions practical training that will enable them to implement an intellectual property strategy into their everyday operations.
The adoption of digital intelligence in supply chain problem-solving across the 3D printing industry will help Mech Solutions in meeting consumer demands for more customized products and services that will cause a shift in the scale and distribution of manufacturing. Resolving the substantial challenges involved will lead to an improved product life cycle and industrial sustainability.
