Longmont roofer continues tradition with Veteran's Day Roof Giveaway

By: PRLog

GreenPoint Roofing is pleased to announce the 5th annual roof donation will go to a 40-year United States Air Force Veteran

LONGMONT, Colo. - Nov. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- Since its founding over a decade ago, GreenPoint Roofing has made a difference in local communities by supporting schools, youth athletics and other local non-profits.

But once again this year, GreenPoint Roofing pushed the boundaries of the company's philanthropy, supporting an American hero by donating a new roof to a Boulder County veteran.

"We are excited to honor this year's recipient, Marion Aaberg," Brasington said. "Her service and dedication to the U.S. Armed Forces set an incredible example for the community and the nation. We are thrilled to be able to honor Marion with the gift of a new roof as a small token of the appreciation we have for her time serving us all."

Aaberg served in the United States Air Force for over forty years after enlisting in 1972, leaving the service with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

During her time in the Air Force, she served in Germany, Holland, England and Korea. She received numerous medals acknowledging her service, including The War on Terrorism Medal.

"Aaberg spent a career giving her talents to the military to benefit this amazing country, and we were thrilled to recognize that commitment at GreenPoint Roofing," Brasington said. "The roof for Marion marks the fifth we have given to a deserving veteran and reflects our desire to do more than just provide good roofs at a fair price, we want to provide the community a needed service that they can count on, just like we count on brave soldiers like Marion Aaberg."

He said the giveaway is particularly notable as Asberg is the first female recipient in the five years of the project.

"There are so many honorable men and woman that stood up and gave their time and talent to serve us all," Brasington said. "It gives us immense pride to provide a new roof each year to one of these highly deserving American heroes."

The annual donation is only the latest example of service for GreenPoint Roofing, a company that was founded with the goal of being a community partner with area residents and businesses.

"We pride ourselves on being a full-service roofing company that serves the area with the highest quality materials and one of the greatest roofing teams found anywhere," Brasington said. "We believe supporting our communities is the most important function of a business, and we are thrilled each year to be able to donate a roof to a veteran. I founded GreenPoint Roofing to be an asset to the communities we serve and I am proud to continue that tradition as more area residents turn to us for all their roofing needs."
