Renowned hospitality guru and businesswoman Ms. Lolade Temitope Ogungbe has joined President Hussien Mwinyi of Zanzibar and President Danny Faure of the Seychelles as recipients of the 2022 Pan African Changemaker honor in Zanzibar. This honor is known to be one of the highest recognitions given to the boldest, most strategic and forward-looking personality who is immeasurably committed to championing Africa's socio-economic stability and growth in order to build a prosperous Africa.

In addition to being honored, Ms. Lolade also participated in the second panel session moderated by Dr. Michael Eisa, Group CEO of EISA Smart Group, Monaco, where she spoke on "Shaping the future of Africa: Unleashing the potential of blue recovery by promoting youth and women entrepreneurship for blue and green jobs in Africa.

Others in her Panel include: Ambassador Ronald Jean Jumeau (former Permanent Representative of Seychelles to the United Nations, Ambassador to the United States and High Commissioner to Canada), Leah Zveglich (CEO of Aster Coop Family Office, USA), Dr. Anuraag Guglani (Group Managing Director and Board Member of Asmara Holdings) and Ms. Audrey Bonvin Dechoux (Founder of Inno Africa).

A serial entrepreneur in the hospitality and entertainment sector, among other passions such as agriculture, Ms. Lolade is known for her commitment to supporting women and youth initiatives, encouraging youth and women in her region to take an interest in entrepreneurship.

Previous editions of the event organized by PALEDEC have been held in different cities such as Accra, Dubai, Dar-Salam, Rabat, Abu Dhabi, and Istanbul respectively, with over 7,800 participants including former heads of state, policy makers, and recognized leaders in various sectors of industry, government, business, and humanity from 45 countries in Africa and beyond.
