Currently held by the same roofing company for 12 years it has been indicated by the association that this year the likely winners will be the Nice Bristol Roofing Company due to the response from the votes handed to the association for the last six months.
It is not a small achievement to take the award given that that the criteria is so strict but the judges are so impressed with the feedback that it seems that this year the award will be an overwhelming win by the new contender Nice.
The feedback indicates that the pitch roof work carried out by nice has been very intense and the high quality of feedback with such high success completion rates is what has stood out from the other entries to the award. To achieve close to one hundred percent success on a broad range of projects in the pitch roof section is almost unheard of and has really impressed the expert panel.
In the flat roof section of the award it was necessary to have carried out a minimum of one hundred projects above a ninety-six percent success rate. Only three entries in the Bristol area were able to provide this level of feedback which put Nice Roofing as the front runners. This was on the strongest entry points and has proved to be one of the hardest areas of the competition since the earliest days of the competition. Generally, each year this area of the roofing award filters out the majority of the competition and is seen as the hardest area in order to reach great success.
Tom Hudson of Nice Roofing Bristol has said that it has only been the hard work and commitment of all the staff that has allowed them to reach these heights. He commented that when the business started they never expected to be winning awards at such an early stage of the business. with such a privileged award usually reserved to the key established players in the roofing industry.
Asked if he was happy about the early indications of the award and what this would mean for the future in the roofing industry he has said it would only be once the award has been won would he be making the full predictions. But from what previous winners have experienced it is usually an indication that higher levels of roofing business turnover and service standards will be reached. The award is within the industry seen as one of the most respected titles that a roofing company can hold and is therefore quite the achievement in such a short space of time. The full and final details of the award will be next month at the Roofing Awards ceremony which is an invite-only affair with over twenty companies invited and some key players in the roofing industry being invited including Kevin Brady from Roof Freedoms. Further details of the award will be published on the Association website.
