Highlights of the report include the company’s net income of $1.5 million for 2021 along with a strong balance sheet showing $143.2 million in working capital, including $113 million of cash and marketable securities, $30.8 million in inventory and no short-term or long-term debt. According to the announcement, the company’s Dec. 31, 2021, product inventory would be valued at more than $60 million based on current commodity prices. In addition, the report noted that UUUU produced approximately 270 metric tons of mixed rare earth element (“REE”) carbonate containing 120 metric tons of total rare earth (“RE”) oxides during 2021; the company’s RE carbonate is currently the most advanced REE material being produced in the United States.
