Saved in America Reno Fundraiser to Save Trafficked Teens

Keynote speaker, Mark A. Morgan, will discuss the border crisis and how the border is exponentially increasing the terror of trafficking in the United States. Mark was appointed to serve as the Chief Operation Officer and acting Director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Acting Commissioner of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, served 20 years as a Special Agent with the FBI, Los Angeles Police Department Officer (LAPD), and a 10-year veteran, active duty and reserve, of the United States Marine Corps. (USMC)

The dinner will feature two stories of two 14-year-old teens trafficked and their successful rescues. The first is a testimonial from a young adult who was exploited at 14 years old from Reno and a mother whose 14-year-old daughter was a victim of exploitation (twice) out of Sparks and recovered from Mexico. Saved In America assisted in the research, investigation, and recovery, working with local law enforcement officers, the FBI, US Marshall's office, and law enforcement authorities in Mexico. Saved In America will give awards and honors to local law enforcement for their efforts to bring Hannah back to her mother.

Proceeds will support the recovery efforts of missing/exploited teens from the area. SIA operatives will be working with detectives listed on the report in each jurisdiction, reconnected with Sparks Police (whom they've worked within the past), and communicating with the Reno HEAT team. Media is requested to join our event and the operations/recovery efforts over February 24 through February 27.

Saved In America special ops forces are active or retired Navy Seals, Marines, Law Enforcement, and high-level Internet Security experts who are also licensed Private Investigators that donate their time to recover missing/exploited/trafficked teens at no cost to the parents.

"Saved In America was instrumental in the recovery of a 14-year-old Hannah from Sparks, which was a complicated case with multiple agencies and countries. The evidence they provided allowed our District Attorney enough information to prosecute her predator as a Felony conviction," says Detective Zendejas, Sparks Police Dept.

"Stop keeping these youth prisoners locked into a wounded identity. Get them out of the 'Cycle of Survival' and into the Cycle of personal fulfillment!" says Joseph Galata Executive Director of Sierra Association of Foster Families. An estimated 60% of sex trafficking victims have been a part of the foster care system. Children who are Black, and kids who identify as LGBTQ+, are at a higher risk of being trafficked due to the increased probability of homelessness.

With the need to reduce modern-day slavery, the fundraiser will help offset the expenses for the local operation and help keep all operations free of charge for the parents and victims. Tickets are available at $250 dinner/ops tour ticket per person and *Speaker-Only Event tickets available at $100 per person. Sponsorships range from $2,500 to $50,000. With children at home and online more than ever, online exploitation and trafficking increased nearly 50%.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received 37,872 reports of online enticement in the U.S. in 2020 (up from 19,174), and 98% of victims did not know the offender online. There were also 17,000 reports of child sex trafficking, in which 1 in 6 children reported missing were runaways and victims of sex trafficking. Diane Sawyer's documentary 'Hidden America' is a must-watch to understand.
