Wilmington, NC – The owner of Mr. Rooter Wilmington and Brunswick County is excited to announce the upcoming meeting of the local Wilmington chapter of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) of North Carolina. The meeting is set to take place at Highwire Brewing, located at 1020 Princess St., Wilmington, NC 28401, on April 17th at 6:30 PM.
The PHCC Association of North Carolina is deeply committed to serving its member contractors and the citizens of North Carolina. With initiatives that focus on industry advancements and professional education, the association sees it as its duty to foster growth and ensure the safety of communities throughout the state. Each local chapter sets out to be a unified voice for all plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors in their areas. The organization advocates for the interests of North Carolina contractors and aims to address pertinent issues.
The Wilmington Chapter of PHCC is led by the owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Wilmington and Brunswick County, Mark Gonzales. He first decided to establish the chapter after becoming a board member of the association and realizing that his own community needed representation. As a licensed plumber with many years of experience, his goal was to find a way to give back to the industry and help others with their plumbing careers. Since starting the chapter in 2022, he’s been continually working to educate other contractors and represent the work that PHCC is dedicated to doing.
“It’s time for another meeting, and I’m excited to see what the turnout will be at this one. It would be awesome if we saw some new faces,” said Gonzales about the upcoming meeting. “Any licensed contractor is welcome to join, and we hope to add some new members to our local PHCC chapter.”
