There were more than 600 mass shootings in the United States in 2023, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which defines a mass shooting as an incident in which four or more victims are shot or killed. Given the disturbing rise in shooting incidents across the United States, the launch of this simulation training is both timely and imperative.
