Spanish Fashion Lands on the West Coast

FashionLAB Market @LA Market Week
FashionLAB Market @LA Market Week

LOS ANGELES - October 15, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

FashionLAB Market, the boutique trade show event created by Raquel Navalón and directed by Anna Giralt, makes the leap to the West Coast, specifically, to Los Angeles. With the support of ICEX (Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade), and given the great impact that the event's last edition had in New York just a month ago (Sept. 17-19), six Spanish labels are now going to be the main players of the show's first edition in L.A.

From October 10-13, and as part of LA Market Week, the principal trade show of contemporary West Coast fashion, this edition of FashionLAB Market seeks to introduce these labels to store owners on the West Coast who have not been able to travel to New York, as well as to buyers who have shown interest in the labels after having been sent their lookbooks and would like to see the garments in person. The labels will be able to sell their 2022 Spring-Summer collections to buyers of the caliber of Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus and Free People, and with those with whom they have made agreements in previous editions.

The labels that will be available at FashionLAB Market are:

  • Clo Emotional Design (https://clo.es/en/): CLO Emotional Design is a conceptual and conscious brand that places craftsmanship and sustainability at the heart of its values. It is a celebration of the "savoir faire" of Spanish craftsmanship, combined with collaborations with international avant-garde artists.
  • Limo Concept (https://www.limoconcept.es/en/): Limo is a Spanish brand committed to slow and sustainable fashion, ethically manufactured in small-scale productions. All Limo fabrics are 100% natural. The brand works with high-quality European linens and ecological sustainability textile certifications.
  • Juncal Aguirre (https://www.juncalaguirre.com/): Juncal Aguirre offers versatile and comfortable espadrilles designed for the modern lifestyle. They produce everything in-house in Spain, and they don't use any glue, which makes every shoe extremely comfortable and durable.
  • LAB (https://www.labcollection.es/): LAB collections are a journey to enjoy every moment of life. The brand was born in 2003, and all the pieces are the perfect combination of style, comfort and trends. LAB is committed to more sustainable fashion. They continue to reduce the use of synthetic materials and instead work with natural, organic and recycled fibers.
  • Sea People (https://seapeople.es/): Sea People elevates the beauty and elegance of the Mediterranean lifestyle through handmade high-fashion espadrilles, while respecting their origins and natural characteristics.
  • Chie Mihara (https://www.chiemihara.com/en/): Founded in 2001 in Alicante, Chie Mihara designs shoes for the entire day that ignore conventionality. Their designs convey femininity, audacity, design, quality and (unwavering) dedication to maximum comfort.

From October 10-13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., an appointment can be made to visit the trade show to see the collections in person. The trade show is located in the Cooper Building, Suite 202, 806 S. Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014
